Continuing with our prop-making, the lead character will use a handheld device. Like a futuristic mobile phone.
Designed in SketchUp and in keeping with the look and feel of the cockpit parts, the device features a clear, transparent body with a corner-mounted section which has various details on the front and a camera type device on the rear.
The main body of the device will be cut from polycarbonate on our CNC machine, with the detailed corner parts being 3D printed in resin.
In the film; the device operation will be simulated in post-production.
